Cadillac Benefit

The first retail production of the all-new 2023 Cadillac Escalade-V was sold last month at the Barrett-Jackson Las Vegas Auction! The Escalade-V raised over $500,000 for the Pensole Lewis College of Business & Design, Michigan’s only historically Black college and university and the nation’s first HBCU to reopen. This marks the third Cadillac V-series to auction at Barrett-Jackson in just the last year – helping to pave the way for the next generation of creatives right in Cadillac’s hometown.

The Pensole Lewis College of Business & Design offers programs in design, sustainability, business, STEM and more. They provide intensive curriculums that provide real-life experience for students in order to grow their knowledge and skills from day one. PLC’s financial approach lowers the barrier to entry for all students interested in receiving an education, as corporate collaborators, like Cadillac, fund masterclasses, tuition and housing for students.

“In a city well known for both design and automotive manufacturing, we are proud to have Cadillac as a supporter in this incredibly important effort that will literally change the face of the entire design industry.” -Dr. D’Wayne Edwards, founder of PLC.
