Cadillac is officially shifting into high gear. Ahead of the 2025 Miami Grand Prix, the Cadillac Formula 1 Team offered fans a thrilling first look at its new logo, marking a bold step forward as the team prepares to hit the FIA Formula One World Championship grid in 2026.

The unveiling, presented in a dynamic video release, showcases more than just a logo — it introduces a brand identity deeply rooted in Cadillac’s American heritage and forward-thinking design. Formed through the powerful partnership between TWG Motorsports and General Motors, the team embodies ambition, precision, and a uniquely American spirit on motorsport’s biggest stage.

“Cadillac is honored to share the F1 stage with the best luxury brands from around the world,” said GM President Mark Reuss. “It’s a brand whose legacy on and off the track is filled with innovation, technological precision, and timeless beauty. Our journey has been long but from the very beginning, it has been about ambition… audacity… and now acceleration.”

As Cadillac prepares to enter the most elite racing league in the world, the new logo signals a fusion of performance, luxury, and American pride—a fitting tribute to a brand known for its bold moves and relentless innovation.

Stay tuned as Cadillac races toward its 2026 debut—and brings a new chapter of American excellence to Formula 1.

Cadillac continues to electrify the luxury SUV space with compelling offers and notable upgrades to the 2025 Lyriq — making this spring the perfect time to step into the future of luxury driving.

Cadillac is inviting drivers to make the switch with a $2,000 Competitive Cash Allowance available toward the purchase or lease of a new Lyriq. This offer is extended to current owners or lessees of select luxury and mainstream competitors, including Audi, BMW, Lexus, Tesla, Mercedes-Benz, Genesis, and more. Whether you’re coming from a traditional luxury nameplate or a tech-forward EV brand, Cadillac is making the transition even more rewarding.

In addition to the conquest cash, exclusive Cadillac of Greenwich lease offers remain available on the all-electric Cadillac LYRIQ. Cadillac has also expanded lease availability for the performance-focused 2026 LYRIQ-V, offering more flexibility for drivers looking to go all-electric with added excitement.

The 2025 Cadillac LYRIQ arrives with quiet but impactful changes:

  • Trim Update: The base Tech trim has been discontinued, with Luxury 1 now serving as the new entry point.
  • More Personality: New exterior color options and three accent packages—Blue, Bronze, and Red—let drivers further customize their LYRIQ.
  • Enhanced Comfort: A new front passenger memory seat feature adds a touch of thoughtful luxury.
  • Vibrant Ambience: Ambient lighting now includes 100 new color options.
  • Streamlined Design: The underhood beauty cover has been removed to simplify the vehicle’s structure and reduce parts usage.

Cadillac has increased the LYRIQ’s horsepower and range for 2025, while reducing the number of parts by 24% compared to the previous model. Though winter efficiency still shows room for improvement despite the inclusion of a heat pump, overall performance gains mark a positive evolution.

In a welcome move, launch pricing for the 2025 LYRIQ is lower across the board — ranging from $2,000 to $2,700 less than the 2024 model. For instance, the Luxury 1 RWD trim starts at $59,990, making high-end electric luxury more attainable than ever. A slight $100 increase in destination freight charges brings the total to $1,495, but overall value remains strong.

Cadillac is charging ahead with its electric future, aiming for EVs to make up between 30 to 35 percent of its total sales in 2025; a significant leap from the 18 percent EV share it achieved in 2024. This ambitious target comes at a time when overall demand for electric vehicles in the U.S. remains mixed, but Cadillac sees a clear path forward.

Brad Franz, Cadillac’s Director of Marketing, remains optimistic about the brand’s direction. “We’re not introducing these vehicles just to shift buyers from gas to electric,” Franz said. “This is about growing the business.” He emphasized the growing momentum around EV adoption, noting that Cadillac plans to ride that wave by offering a robust mix of both electric and traditional models.

In Q4 of 2024, EVs like the Cadillac Lyriq crossover and the all-electric Escalade IQ represented 17.8 percent of the brand’s total sales. While the ultra-luxury Celestiq plays a more niche role, the upcoming EV portfolio is set to expand with the arrival of new models such as the Optiq, Vistiq, high-performance Lyriq-V, and the extended Escalade IQL.

Franz highlighted the importance of the Optiq and Escalade IQ in Cadillac’s strategy. “Optiq will be our entry point for EVs—more attainable and approachable—while the Escalade IQ takes everything people love about the nameplate and brings it into the electric era,” he said. “Both are expected to gain traction quickly.”

In addition to expanding its EV offerings, Cadillac is gradually phasing out internal combustion engine (ICE) models to accelerate the shift. With a growing electric lineup and continued phase-out of gas-powered vehicles, Cadillac is positioning itself to be a major player in the luxury EV space—and it’s aiming to bring new customers along for the ride.

Cadillac is once again redefining luxury — not on the road, but at the dinner table. Following the success of its January launch in New York City, Cadillac’s exclusive dining series, “Cadillac of Reservations,” is hitting the road, expanding to three culinary hotspots across the U.S. this spring and summer.

La Dolce Vita in Beverly Hills will host the next immersive experience in April, followed by COTE Korean Steakhouse in Miami in early summer, and State Bird Provisions in San Francisco rounding out the series in late summer. Each event promises a once-in-a-lifetime meal enjoyed in the lavish comfort of the all-electric Cadillac ESCALADE IQ.

This groundbreaking initiative debuted earlier this year at COQODAQ in New York City, where lucky diners enjoyed a five-course meal, featuring the restaurant’s acclaimed fried chicken, served directly inside the Executive Second Row of the ESCALADE IQ. Thoughtfully designed touches like song pairings for each dish, played through the AKG 40-speaker studio reference sound system, and a virtual fireplace on rear infotainment screens created an unforgettable fusion of fine dining and cutting-edge technology.

At La Dolce Vita, patrons can expect the same elevated experience. The iconic Italian-American eatery—revitalized post-pandemic by restaurateurs Marc Rose and Med Abrous of Call Mom—will serve its signature spaghetti and meatballs and branzino piccata, enhanced by Cadillac’s luxurious in-vehicle amenities like heated, ventilated, and massaging captain’s chairs and stowable tray tables.

Looking ahead, the Cadillac of Reservations at COTE in Miami will infuse the vibrant energy of Korean Barbeque meets American Steakhouse, while State Bird Provisions in San Francisco will transform the ESCALADE IQ into the ultimate gourmet hors d’oeuvres party, with inventive bites served from carts and trays inside the Executive Second Row.

From iconic dishes to innovative presentation, Cadillac’s limited-time dining series invites guests to savor flavor in style — all while immersed in the next generation of all-electric luxury.

Experience new heights with the introduction of the all-electric 2026 Cadillac ESCALADE IQL – with all the cutting-edge technology and luxury of the ESCALADE IQ, with the added benefit of extra passenger and cargo space to meet the needs of those who require even more room. The ESCALADE IQL features a sophisticated, extended silhouette that enhances third-row passenger comfort and increases rear cargo capacity.

Inside, the ESCALADE IQL boasts first-class comfort and technology, including the available Executive Second Row package. This premium package includes:

  • 12.6-inch personal screens with a rear command center
  • Stowable tray tables for convenience
  • Dual wireless phone charging pads
  • Massaging, heated, and ventilated second-row seats with 14-way power adjustment and headrest speakers
  • Expanded third-row space with four extra inches of legroom (36.7 inches) and an additional inch of headroom (38.2 inches)

Cadillac has equipped the ESCALADE IQL with its most advanced technology to date. A striking 55-inch curved pillar-to-pillar display provides a fully immersive infotainment experience with dedicated Escalade graphics, voice control, and an integrated app store. Entertainment and connectivity features include a standard AKG Studio 21-speaker audio system, with an available 42-speaker setup in the Executive Second Row package, along with Dolby Atmos for premium surround sound clarity. Passengers can enjoy HD streaming, browser compatibility, and a built-in 5G Wi-Fi hotspot, while standard Super Cruise driver assistance technology provides a hands-free driving experience.

The ESCALADE IQL also introduces vehicle-to-home (V2H) bidirectional charging, which allows the SUV to transfer energy to a properly equipped home during power outages when paired with the GM Energy V2H Bundle.

Enjoy an impressive 460-mile range (Cadillac estimate) on a 24-module GM battery producing 205 kWh. When charging is needed, owners can gain up to 116 miles of range in just 10 minutes at a public DC fast-charging station.

Performance remains at the heart of the ESCALADE IQL, with:

  • 750 horsepower and 785 lb-ft of torque (with Velocity Max mode, Cadillac estimate)
  • 0-60 mph in just 4.7 seconds (Cadillac estimate)
  • 7,500-pound maximum towing capacity (Cadillac estimate)
  • Magnetic Ride Control 4.0 and Air Ride Adaptive Suspension for a smooth, responsive drive
  • 24-inch wheels with 35-inch tires for a commanding road presence

The 2026 Cadillac ESCALADE IQL will be available in four trims: Luxury, Sport, Premium Luxury, Premium Sport. Pricing starts at $132,695 (including destination charge). Production begins in mid-2025 at GM’s Factory ZERO plant in Detroit, and global sales—including in the United States and Canada—will follow.

With the ESCALADE IQL, Cadillac delivers an electrified SUV that offers uncompromising luxury, cutting-edge technology, and powerful performance, ensuring that the Escalade remains at the pinnacle of its class.

Cadillac Racing is set to make a strong return to the 24 Hours of Le Mans this June, fielding four Cadillac V-Series.R racecars in pursuit of the prestigious Hypercar class victory. This marks Cadillac’s third consecutive year competing in the top category at Le Mans and commemorates 75 years since the brand’s first appearance at Circuit de la Sarthe.

“We’re thrilled to have Cadillac Racing return to the 24 Hours of Le Mans with four cars competing for the overall win in the Hypercar class,” said John Roth, vice president of Global Cadillac. “After securing a podium finish in 2023 and a top-10 result last year, we’re eager to build on that success and showcase the Cadillac V-Series.R’s technology, performance, and innovation.”

The four Cadillac entries will be supported by experienced teams and championship-winning drivers:

  • Nos. 12 and 38 Cadillac Hertz Team JOTA V-Series.R – These entries received automatic invitations due to full-season participation in the FIA World Endurance Championship (WEC). Jenson Button, Earl Bamber, Sebastien Bourdais, Alex Lynn, Norman Nato, and Will Stevens will take the wheel for JOTA Sport, which is competing in its first WEC Hypercar season as a works team.
  • No. 101 Cadillac Wayne Taylor Racing V-Series.R – A full-season IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship competitor in the Grand Touring Prototype (GTP) class, this car will make its Le Mans debut. Ricky Taylor is listed as the primary driver, with the rest of the lineup to be announced.
  • No. 311 Whelen Cadillac V-Series.R – A returning IMSA GTP entry from Action Express Racing, this car will compete at Le Mans for the third consecutive year. Jack Aitken is the primary driver, with additional teammates to be revealed later.

Cadillac has demonstrated strong results in its recent Le Mans campaigns. In 2023, the brand secured a third-place finish, and in 2024, Cadillac Hypercars qualified second and third, with a best race finish of seventh. Meanwhile, JOTA Sport has a storied history at Le Mans, having earned 10 podiums in LMP2, including second- and third-place finishes in 2017, before stepping into Hypercar competition in 2023.

At the heart of the Cadillac V-Series.R is a 5.5L DOHC V-8 engine, developed by GM’s Performance and Racing Propulsion team in Pontiac, Michigan. Co-developed with Cadillac Design, Cadillac Racing, and chassis constructor Dallara, the racecar incorporates signature Cadillac elements, including vertical lighting and floating blade aerodynamics. The V-Series.R draws inspiration from the Project GTP Hypercar, which was unveiled in 2022.

As Cadillac Racing returns to the world’s most demanding endurance race, all eyes will be on the V-Series.R to continue the brand’s legacy of power, precision, and performance on the global stage.

Get ready—Cadillac is joining Formula 1. The Cadillac Formula 1 Team, backed by TWG Motorsports and General Motors, has received final approval to compete in the FIA Formula One World Championship starting in March 2026. This milestone marks a significant moment for the expansion of F1, as the grid prepares to welcome an 11th team to the world’s premier motorsport series.

The Cadillac Formula 1 Team represents a distinctly American entry into the sport, blending TWG Motorsports’ cutting-edge technology and deep motorsports expertise with GM’s performance DNA, engineering excellence, and motorsports success. Together, they are laying the foundation for a competitive, world-class team.

“For the past year, we have worked hand in hand with GM to build a strong foundation for an extraordinary Formula 1 entry,” said Dan Towriss, CEO of TWG Motorsports. “Now, with final approval secured, we’re accelerating our efforts—expanding facilities, refining cutting-edge technologies, and assembling top-tier talent.”

The team will be led by Graeme Lowdon as Team Principal, a veteran motorsports executive with extensive Formula 1 experience. Russ O’Blenes has been appointed CEO of TWG GM Performance Power Units LLC, a new entity that will drive Cadillac toward becoming a full works team, developing both chassis and power units for F1.

“This announcement is the next step in getting on the grid and moves us closer to becoming a full-works team,” said Lowdon. “Through the long and thorough application process, we never lost pace in our planning or belief in our mission. We can’t wait to go racing and give fans a new team to cheer for.”

Meanwhile, GM’s power unit development continues, with an experienced engineering team working toward running their first V6 engine in the near future.

Since announcing its bid to join F1 in January 2023, TWG Motorsports has assembled a team of over 300 specialists, focusing on aerodynamics, chassis development, software, and vehicle dynamics simulation. Development work is progressing rapidly, with wind tunnel testing, parts production, and performance validation well underway. The team operates from multiple locations, including Indianapolis, Charlotte, Warren (Michigan), and Silverstone (UK).

With preparations in full swing and a competitive strategy taking shape, Cadillac’s entry into Formula 1 signals an exciting new chapter—not just for the team, but for the sport as a whole. As 2026 approaches, anticipation builds for Cadillac’s debut on the world’s biggest motorsport stage.
