Cadillac Escalade IQ

This October, Barrett-Jackson, renowned as The World’s Greatest Collector Car Auctions, will continue its legacy of philanthropy by auctioning off the first retail production all-electric 2025 Cadillac ESCALADE IQ, VIN 001. One hundred percent of the proceeds from the sale will go to the Detroit Children’s Fund, furthering the auction house’s commitment to charitable causes.

The sale will take place at the 2024 Scottsdale Fall Auction, presented by Gila River Resorts & Casinos, from October 10-13 at WestWorld of Scottsdale. The vehicle, generously donated by Cadillac, marks the brand’s debut into the all-electric, full-size SUV market.

“We’re honored Cadillac chose Barrett-Jackson for the sale of their first retail production ESCALADE IQ,” said Craig Jackson, chairman and CEO of Barrett-Jackson. “This is a rare chance to own a piece of automotive history, while supporting children’s education in Detroit.”

For the past decade, the Cadillac Escalade has dominated the luxury full-size SUV market, and with the ESCALADE IQ, Cadillac is setting a new standard. Built on GM’s cutting-edge EV architecture, the ESCALADE IQ features a dual-motor all-wheel-drive system delivering over 200 kWh and an estimated range of 460 miles. With an estimated 750 horsepower and 785 lb-ft of torque in Velocity Max mode, the SUV can go from 0 to 60 mph in under 5 seconds. The ESCALADE IQ also comes equipped with Cadillac’s Super Cruise hands-free driver assistance technology, included for three years with the OnStar Super Cruise plan.

“The 2025 Cadillac ESCALADE IQ redefines what it means to be a luxury SUV,” said GM President Mark Reuss. “With its iconic design, cutting-edge technology, and unmatched craftsmanship, this vehicle represents the future of Cadillac. We’re proud to partner with Barrett-Jackson to auction VIN 001, with every dollar benefiting the Detroit Children’s Fund.”

Inside, the ESCALADE IQ is outfitted with a stunning 55-inch pillar-to-pillar display and, when equipped with the executive second-row seating package, a 40-speaker AKG Studio Reference audio system. This package includes heated, ventilated, and massaging second-row seats with 14-way adjustability, stowable tray tables, and dual wireless charging pads. Additional features include 12.6-inch personal screens, a rear command center, a panoramic fixed-glass roof, and a power open-and-close exterior door system.

All proceeds from the sale will support the Detroit Children’s Fund, a nonprofit focused on improving the quality of education for children in Detroit. Barrett-Jackson has raised over $155 million for various charitable causes in its 53-year history, with this auction poised to make another significant contribution.
