Cadillac Escalade IQ

Last year, Cadillac introduced the all-new 2025 Cadillac Escalade IQ, a fully electric version of the luxury brand’s flagship SUV. With its two-motor powertrain delivering up to 750 horsepower, a tech-laden interior featuring a 55-inch infotainment system, and an estimated driving range of 460 miles, the Escalade IQ represents a significant step forward in Cadillac’s EV lineup. After a much anticipated wait, we’re excited to announce that the ESCALADE IQ production is set to begin this October.

While the Escalade IQ shares many styling cues with the refreshed, internal combustion-engine 2025 Cadillac Escalade, it features unique bodywork. The IQ has a much longer wheelbase, slots between the standard Escalade and the extended-length Escalade ESV in overall length, and boasts a slightly wider body with a lower roofline and ground clearance for a sportier look.

At launch, the 2025 Escalade IQ will come with two Ultium Drive electric motors, delivering a combined output of up to 750 horsepower and 785 pound-feet of torque in Velocity Max mode. Cadillac estimates a 0-60 mph time of under five seconds. The 200+ kWh Ultium 24-module battery pack provides an estimated 460-mile range on a full charge and offers Vehicle-to-Home (V2H) functionality for powering external devices.
The Escalade IQ will feature:

  • 24-inch wheels with 35-inch tires
  • Fully independent suspension
  • Four-wheel steering
  • Magnetic Ride Control 4.0 and Adaptive Air Ride suspension with the ability to raise the SUV by one inch and lower it by two inches
  • Towing capacity of up to 8,000 pounds when properly equipped

Available in Luxury 1, Luxury 2, Sport 1, and Sport 2 trims, the Escalade IQ offers four interior color and trim themes. The cabin’s highlight is the 55-inch display spanning pillar-to-pillar, housing the driver instrument cluster, infotainment touchscreen, and front passenger entertainment screen. The standard AKG audio system includes 19 speakers, with the optional AKG Studio Reference system boasting 36 speakers, increasing to 40 with the Executive Second Row package.

Additional features include Super Cruise, OnStar, dual 12.6-inch rear-seat entertainment screens, 5G network connectivity, and available front and second-row massaging seats.

The 2025 Cadillac Escalade IQ will be produced alongside the GMC Hummer EV SUV, Hummer EV Pickup, Chevy Silverado EV, and GMC Sierra EV at the GM Factory Zero plant in Hamtramck, Michigan.
