The long-awaited debut of the first-ever, all-electric ESCALADE IQ is finally here. Reimagining the luxury full-size SUV experience with iconic design, craftsmanship, and the latest in Cadillac technology – the ESCALADE IQ was built to be the best-driving ESCALADE to date. Built on GM’s innovative and modular EV propulsion architecture, the ESCALADE IQ is the perfect blend of bold design and performance.

“ESCALADE IQ is first and foremost a Cadillac and delivers on a promise of innovative design supported by spirited performance and cutting-edge technologies,” said Jamie Brewer, executive chief engineer, ESCALADE IQ. “The EV-specific architecture allows us to deliver a driving experience aligned with Cadillac’s philosophy of isolated precision — quiet, smooth and effortless with a strong connection to the road for an engaging experience.”

Power and Performance
With an estimated range of 450 miles per full charge, the ESCALADE IQ features independent front and rear suspension with power transferred to 24-inch wheels and 35-inch tires via the eAWD system. Magnetic Ride Control 4.0 and Adaptive Air Ride Suspension isolate passengers from undesirable road surfaces while providing precise steering and feel. Four-Wheel Steer reduces the turning diameter to only 39.4 feet when in lower speeds and 6.5 feet for greater maneuverability in parking lots. Cadillac Arrival Mode allows your ESCALADE IQ to move diagonally, making it even easier to fit your full-size SUV in smaller spaces.

A 24-module Ultium battery serves as the foundation, producing more than 200 kWh while employing a flexible high-voltage structure than enables 800-volt DC fast charging. Equipped with Vehicle-to-Home (V2H) bidirectional charging technology with GM Energy’s available Ultium Home products, providing customers with the ability to send power directly from the vehicle to a properly equipped home. This capability will be enabled via an over-the-air software update for the 2025 model year. ESCALADE IQ will also offer the option of Vehicle-to-Load (V2L) offboard power, allowing the vehicle to power external devices.

You’ll also enjoy One-Pedal Driving and Variable Regen on Demand to allow you to feel more connected to every drive. Plus, Ultium Energy Recovery — an innovative heat pump thermal system — allows for energy to transfer between the battery/power electronics and the cabin, using every watt possible to optimize range and minimizing the power from the high-voltage battery used for five-zone climate control.

Safety, of course, has taken the front stage in ESCALADE IQ technology. The SUV will feature a suite of standard active safety and driver assistance features such as:
Blind Zone Steering Assist: Can provide a brief, firm turn of the steering wheel when a potential crash is detected with a moving vehicle in the lane the vehicle is entering
Intersection Automatic Emergency Braking: Can help drivers avoid or reduce the severity of an intersection collision with a detected cross-traffic vehicle
HD Surround Vision: Provides selectable digital camera views of the area around the vehicle and can help drivers park or avoid vehicles and objects
Enhanced Automatic Parking Assist: Can automatically steer, brake and shift gears to park the vehicle into a dedicated parallel or perpendicular parking space and can help unpark the vehicle
Front Pedestrian and Bicyclist Braking: At speeds between 5 and 50 mph, can help drivers avoid or reduce the severity of a collision with a pedestrian or bicyclist it detects directly in front of them

A Bold Presence
The design of the ESCALADE IQ captures the essence of his predecessors, while providing a bold EV architecture that makes a statement. A sleeker profile, dynamic hood and faster-sloping roofline, and a lower, flatter interior floor for the ultimate in passenger space. The new design pushed the wheels to the corners for a more powerful stance and bold proportions. Expressive design is shown in the vertical light signature for both day and night, tall front daytime running light blades, and dramatic lighting choreography at both approach and departure.

Additional ESCALADE IQ exterior details include:

  • Available power open-and-close exterior door entry system. All four doors power open and close at the touch of a button, and if activated, the driver’s door will automatically open as the driver approaches with the key fob
  • Motorized charge port door that opens automatically with a touch
  • Large eTrunk compartment under the hood with 12 cubic feet of storage
  • Dynamic 24-inch wheel designs

The interior of the new ESCALADE IQ is inspired by the worlds of architecture, upscale furnishings, fashion and more. The cabin is open, airy and spacious, and incorporates advanced technologies introduced on the ultra-luxury Cadillac CELESTIQ.

Highlights include:

  • A stunning, curved pillar-to-pillar 55-inch-total-diagonal LED display powered by a next generation Snapdragon®12 Cockpit Platform from Qualcomm Technologies, Inc. creates a vibrant first impression that only gets better over time with intuitive virtual Smart Controls, such as Universal Remote control when you pull up to your garage, which enhances the experience. Utilizing connectivity from Qualcomm Technologies’ Snapdragon® Auto 5G Modem-RF system, the ESCALADE IQ raises the bar for in-vehicle experiences. The integrated infotainment experience is further personalized and enhanced with Google built-in. With Google Assistant®, Google Maps, and Google Play, customers can access hands-free communication, live traffic updates, information on nearby charging stations, download their favorite apps and more.

Cadillac Racing Returns to Brazil Looking to Repeat Historic Success

Cadillac Hertz Team JOTA is headed back to Brazil with its sights set on another standout performance in the FIA World Endurance Championship (WEC) as the team prepares for the Rolex 6 Hours of São Paulo at the legendary Autódromo José Carlos Pace, better known as Interlagos. The event holds special significance for Cadillac Racing. Last season, the team delivered a historic 1-2 finish—the first by a U.S. manufacturer in the Hypercar class of the FIA WEC. The milestone victory marked Cadillac's first-ever WEC win and showcased the performance of the Cadillac V-Series.R on the global stage. This year, the No. 38 Cadillac Hertz Team JOTA V-Series.R will be piloted by Jack Aitken, Earl Bamber, and Sébastien Bourdais, while Norman Nato and Will Stevens will share driving duties in the No. 12 entry as Alex Lynn continues his recovery. Following a strong showing at the 24 Hours of Le Mans, where Cadillac demonstrated impressive speed throughout the race, the team enters São Paulo with confidence and momentum. Cadillac Racing Program Manager Keely Bosn noted that last year's victory was more than just a race win—it reinforced Cadillac's ability to compete with the world's best while providing valuable insights that help shape future performance and technology. Drivers from both Cadillac entries are equally eager to return to the iconic Brazilian circuit. Several reflected on the unforgettable atmosphere, passionate fans, and memorable podium celebration following last year's victory, while others are excited to experience the challenging Interlagos track for the first time. The Rolex 6 Hours of São Paulo promises another exciting chapter in Cadillac Racing's pursuit of championship success. As the team looks to build on last year's breakthrough victory, fans can expect another determined effort from the Cadillac V-Series.R as it continues to compete among the world's premier endurance racing teams.

Meet the Father-Son Duo Helping Power the Cadillac F1 Team

Meet the Father-Son Duo Helping Power the Cadillac F1 Team

Behind every Formula 1 car is a team of engineers, strategists, and drivers working around the clock to find every last fraction of a second. For the Cadillac Formula 1 Team, one of those key contributors is not a seasoned racing veteran or a former Grand Prix driver. He is a teenager from Michigan named Aiden Price, and his story is one of the most remarkable in motorsport right now. It started with a vacation. When Cadillac F1 sim driver and Indianapolis 500 winner Simon Pagenaud needed time off during the team's intense pre-debut preparations, someone had to step in to keep the virtual laps going. Matt Borland, Director of Motorsport Competition Programs for Cadillac, turned to Greg Price, a Design and Manufacturing Manager for GM Motorsports, with an unconventional suggestion: what about his son? At just 14 years old, Aiden Price had already built an impressive racing resume with multiple wins in micro sprints on short oval tracks and a reputation as one of the most technically capable young drivers on iRacing, the world's premier online sim-racing platform. He had even developed a side business creating and selling custom car setups to other iRacing drivers online. With permission from his high school principal, Greg pulled Aiden out of class for an evaluation in front of the Cadillac F1 team. Within 15 minutes, the team had seen enough. They asked the question any teenager would love to hear: "Any chance you can miss school tomorrow?" Aiden is now enrolled in online high school, giving him the flexible schedule needed to work alongside Cadillac's professional sim drivers Pagenaud and former Formula 1 driver Pietro Fittipaldi. The learning curve has been steep. A modern Formula 1 car involves thousands of variables and a cockpit full of electronic adjustments that can dramatically alter the way the car behaves from corner to corner. "It took me a long time to learn what everything did," Aiden says, "but once you understand it all, it makes sense." Much of that understanding came long before Cadillac ever entered Formula 1. Growing up alongside his father Greg, Aiden spent years learning the nuances of car setup in both the real and virtual worlds. "I've always worked with him on setting up cars," Greg says. "He's very in tune with everything we do on our race cars." In Formula 1, official on-track practice time is tightly restricted by series regulations, making simulator work absolutely essential. "You can run them all the time, try new things, and figure out what works, from driving techniques to setups," Greg explains. "That's how the Cadillac MAC-26 Formula 1 car was developed. Every single detail was built in simulation, and from there, it went to the UK to be manufactured." The real-world impact of Aiden's simulator work has already been felt at race weekends. In the buildup to the 2026 Miami Grand Prix, Aiden was testing a virtual suspension upgrade for the MAC-26 when the team decided they needed the new parts built and shipped to Miami overnight. Greg received the call after hours, arranged for the parts to be manufactured, and caught the first flight to Miami, arriving at the track with components that Aiden had helped develop in the simulator just the day before. "It was a neat thing to see," Greg recalls. Aiden's contributions extend beyond Formula 1. He has also logged simulator laps for both the Cadillac LMDh and Chevrolet INDYCAR programs at the GM Motorsports Charlotte Technical Center, contributing to a collaborative approach that connects learnings across all of GM's racing disciplines. The same pursuit of performance and precision that drives the Cadillac Formula 1 Team lives in every vehicle on our showroom floor. Stop by Heritage Cadillac to experience that commitment for yourself.
